New shows that started last week like Shastri Sisters on Colors opened to 0.9 TVR in the 7 pm slot. This slot was vacant after Sanskar got over. Life Ok’s thriller Laut Aao Trisha in the 10pm slot ends it’s week one with a rating of 1 TVR. Amitabh Bachchan’s Yudh drops to just 0.4 from 0.6 in its premiere week. The Anupam Kher Show finishes its third week unchanged at 1.1 compared to the previous week. Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7 was at 2.3( 2.)

Amongst the channels Star Plus continues at the Numero Uno spot with GRP  of 335 despite a slight drop from last week’s 336. Zee TV marks a progress with 207 GRP as against 206 from last week. Colors sees a remarkable jump at number 3 with 188 GRP a huge improvement from last week’s 164 ratings. Life OK sees a slight drop from 171 to 170. Sony ups in numbers at number five from 128 GRP to 136, SAB TV too marks an improvement 130 (126). Zee’s new channel Zindagi in it’s fourth week manages GRP of 11 (14).

Disappointed with the fake proposal, well there is more in store…

Raman (Karan Patel) and Ishita’s (Divyanka Tripathi) romantic moment where our angry young man Mr Bhalla confesses his love for his wifey isn’t genuine. It was just a suggestion that doctor gave in order to divert Ishita’s attention from the pain in her fractured hand. Well, how we wish that this mature love story had not retorted to such predictably gimmicky story line. In the upcoming promo we will see some more such moments, they are for real or not we’re yet to find out…

Raman decides to play Ishita’s knight in shinning armour when her assistant is busy making love with his wife who has just returned from her maternal home. Well, we ain’t sure after watching this episode if there will be a fall or hike in the number of patients visiting doctor Ishita thanks to an inexperienced yet dashing dude like Raman Kumar Bhalla.

Anyway, BollywoodLifers and fans of Raman and Ishita‘s show can look forward to some sweet moments between the forever warring couple. Will they realise their true feeling for each other in one of these fake teasing moments. Well, you never know!

We’ve seen Ruhi’s father going through tough times when he decided to hide the truth from his wife, looks like it’s his time to be on the other side now

Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) is hiding something from Raman (Karan Patel). Not the one to be scared of telling the truth even if it hurts somebody Ishita is kepping something from her husband. So, what is it? Is it her new found feelings for her Ravan Kumar? Or is it some problem that she doesn’t want to burden her busy husband with? 

In the last episode we saw how after Parmeet, Shagun and Ashok Khanna now there is a new villain in the Bhallas lives. A VIP who had come for a treatment at doctor Ishita’s clinic is out to seek revenge for the insult he had to face at the clinic. He decides to not follow Ishita’s advice and instead do the exact opposite just so that he can ruin the two people who are the latest entrants into his foe list.

So, is Ishita aware that the man concerned has plotted to ruin her career and damage her reputation. Has she learnt that Dr Bhatra’s patient who she attended to the previous day is up for some mischief? Well, we aren’t sure. However the preview of last night’s episode Ishita tries to avoid Raman from driving her to the clinic. In fact in a monologue with herself she even gives away that she is indeed hiding something from Raman.

They certainly are small screen’s most crazy couple

Raman (Karan Patel) and Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) are no ordinary husband wife. While their marriage is an understanding between two mature individuals, their relationship is fun and light. The couple often indulge in leg pulling and name calling. In fact you will hardly see them missing a chance to poke fun at the other. So, while Ishita avoids Raman from joining her at the hospital for a procedure, her husband on knowing his meeting is cancelled decides to join her. 

It’s only on reaching the hospital he realises that his darling wifey has gone berserk after a dose of anesthesia. Now we have never seen someone with this kind of side-effects. And we’re sure neither has Mr Bhalla, who decides to make a video clip of the same to annoy her.

While Ruhi’s parents are enjoying a light moment, on the other side Ashok’s brother Suraj, who was the arrogant VIP patient that Ishita and Raman attended to has decided to seek vengeance. When Shagun and Ashok realise that their arch rivals can be trapped they are might pleased and assure Suraj that they will sue Ishita and Raman.

It’s Mihir’s bachelors party and the boys are a having a gala time sans their partners

Raman (Karan Patel) has lied to Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) about a meeting with foreign delegates and joined his gang of boys Romi, Mihir, Bala and Neil for a bachelors party. With Romi taking charge of all arrangements there is no dearth of booze or babes. This despite Raman advising his l’il bro against it. Now Ishita and her sisters too are having some fun girlie time at home, however her hubby has got an indecent proposal of sex on beach from a girl at this party. Will Raman go all out at the party or his marital status stop him from crossing the line?

Last we saw how Ishita is putting all her best efforts to get Punjabi food right for her hubby and daughter Ruhi. We’ve seen how Mr Bhalla loves his paranthas and rajma with the perfect North Indian tadkaaa and so Ishita and Ruhi are out to get some cookery books from nearby store. Whil Ruhi has found a fan in expert chef Purnima it seems like there is more than food that Ishita should be worried about right now.

Raman’s CEO status has earned him the attention of the girl at the bar they are partying. With Ishita’s call interrupting this sexy conversation, we’re yet to see if Raman will go out with the girl.  Well, so tonight’s episode will prove if Raman Kumar Bhalla is a loyal husband? In the last episode, we saw Mrs Bhalla learning about a baby swapping incident at the hospital. She was seen worried sick about the news, thinking that her son Romi (Aly Goni) was a victim of the same. Things, however, were brought under control when she learned that Romi was her own child and there wasn’t any confusion after all. Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi), on the other hand, faced a troubled situation where her license to practice dentistry was revoked following a complaint filed by Suraj ( Vineet Kumar), who termed her as an irresponsible doctor. The episode ended with an upset Ishita confiding in Raman about the incident and informing him about the happenings during the day.

In the upcoming episode, we will see Raman (Karan Patel) vouching to teach Suraj a lesson. It will be revealed that Suraj had purposely hurt Ishita on Ashok’s instructions. In the last episode, we saw Romi (Aly Goni) learning about the baby swapping incident. Dr Mishra informed him about the same and Romi was seen enlightened about the fact that he was a rich Birla rather than a Bhalla. He was seen throwing a pricey attitude in the household with others trying to figure out the reason for the same. Raman (Karan Patel), on the other hand, learnt that Suraj was Ashok’s (Sangram Singh) brother. He was seen visiting Ashok on his birthday and smothering his face with the cake, as a medium to seek revenge from him and Suraj.

In the upcoming episode, we will see Raman gifting a bathrobe to Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) following the incident of him spotting her stitching a broken hook earlier that morning. He will ask her to keep the bathrobe with her and wear it the next time she plans to stitch things in front of him. On a heavier note, Raman will be seen facing Suraj and Ashok in the court, regarding the case of Ishita’s license getting revoked. The judge will inform Raman that he can get Ishita’s license back as long as he fulfills a condition put forth by Ashok.

Romi and Ishita have teamed up to get justice and they have already hatched their plan

In the last episode of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, we saw how Raman (Karan Patel) gave up his position as president of the business association and suggested Ashok’s name in order to get Ishita’s (Divyanka Tripathi) medical license back.

When Romi (Aly Goni) informs Ishita about this, she vows to teach Suraj Khanna – Ashok’s (Sangram Singh) brother a lesson. Together they discover that Suraj is heavily into cricket betting. In the next episode Romi and Ishita will make a plan to trap Suraj and catch him red handed.

Romi will talk to his connections in the betting world and get details of Suraj’s bid. They will then call the cops and make sure that Suraj is caught red-handed. However, Raman has no clue that Ishita is doing all this.

The main question is whether Ishita will malign the Khannas’ reputation in time to save Raman’s position or not. Stay tuned to this space as we get you more details on what’s going to happen next on Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.

Like Kamya, Neil too will be seen in a negative role

We recently reported that television actress Kamya Punjabi will soon make an entry in Colors’ hit show Beintehaa. Now the latest we hear is that Kamya will not enter the Abdullah house alone but will have actor Neil Motwani accompanying her. The dashing lad will play Kamya’s son in the show.

The young actor, who is currently playing an integral part in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, is excited about the new role. Speaking to an entertainment portal, Neil said “Yes, I am entering Beintehaa. I play Kamya Punjabi’s son. However, I do not have any information on my character as I have not started the shoot yet.”

A little birdie from the sets of Beintehaa confirmed that Neil will essay a negative role and will add more misery to the already disrupted life of Zain (Harshad Arora) and Aaliya (Preetika Rao). He along with his on-screen mother will win over Surraiya (Suchitra Pillai) and Zain’s confidence to seize the Barkath Empire.

While Surraiya has already created a rift between Zain and Aaliya, we wonder what new twist this mother-son duo will introduce in the show. Stay tuned to find out!

The little nokh-jhok between the not-so-in-love couple makes the show rather interesting

In the recent episode of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, we saw how  Romi (Aly Goni) and Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) decide to teach Suraj Khanna a lesson by catching him red handed betting on cricket. They disguise Sarika as a waitress and send her to Suraj and the bookie’s hotel room to record them in action. But all hell breaks loose when the bookie starts misbehaving with Sarika, Ishita intervenes and they run from there.

Back home, Raman (Karan Patel) is disturbed about not telling his family members the real reason behind letting go his position as President. When Ishita questions him, the two start bickering again. Mrs Bhalla then reprimands Raman for screaming at Ishita as she has kept the Varalaxmi fast for him.

Raman, who hates the idea of fasting and karva chauth goes into flashback when Shagun (Anita Hassanandani) had pretended to keep a fast for him. Raman tells Ishita to break the fast and forget about it, but she relents and insists on staying hungry. They share a short romantic moment when Raman realises the dedication with which Ishita is fasting for him – it touches his heart. Awww…

Knowingly or unknowingly Raman and Ishita have fallen for each other, it’s only a matter of time before they realise it.

In the last episode we saw that Zain (Harshad Arora) and Aaliya’s (Preetika Rao) married life has hit a rocky patch. However, Rehaan (Nandish Sandhu) with lots of efforts has managed to make them work in the same office, thus giving them a chance to improve their relationship. Meanwhile Surraiya’s (Suchitra Pillai) sister Zarina (Kamya Punjabi) made a surprise entry in the Abdullah house and is expected to add more spice to the show.

On the other hand, love seems to be blossoming yet again between Zain and Aaliya. The couple is on a business trip and is staying in a hotel. The hotel owner misbehaves with Aaliya. When Zain sees this, he loses his cool and gets into a fight with the manager. Aaliya who was unconsciousness is brought to her room and Zain spends the entire night taking care of his wifey. In the morning when Aaliya hears the manager speak foul about Zain, she slaps the manager.

The television actress will play an integral role in the show

The makers of Colors’ hit show Beintehaa seem to be on a roll as they are introducing new characters on the show, one after the other. Previously, we had informed you that television actors Kamya Punjabi and Neil Motwani will enter the show, now the latest entrant in the show is Priya Shinde, the Splitsvilla fame.

As per the sources, Priya will play Surraiya’s (Suchitra Pillai) friend’s daughter named Sanam. She will be an independent girl and a publisher by profession. Surraiya will be impressed by Sanam’s confidence and would want Zain (Harshad Arora) to marry her. She would force Zain to divorce Aaliya (Preetika Rao), as soon as possible, so that she could get her son hooked with Sanam.

Speaking to an entertainment portal Priya confirmed the news, “Yes, I am shooting for Beintehaa. I play the parallel lead opposite Zain.” While Kamya and Neil’s entry has already raised many eyebrows, we wonder what new twist Priya’s character will introduce in the show. Stay tuned to find out!

To fulfill his promise made to Surraiya of marrying Sanam, Zain decides to divorce Aaliya

The most dreaded moment of Colors’ Beintehaa is finally here. Though the plot had earlier hinted at a separation of Zain (Harshad Arora) and Aaliya (Preetika Rao), the makers of the show were delaying the same for a while. However, in yesterday’s episode Zain finally divorced Aaliya by saying ‘Talakh’ for the third time.

In the last few episodes, it seemed that the lovebirds would reunite as they got to spend some quality time with each other. However, Surraiya (Suchitra Pillai) reached their hotel with Sanam (Priya Shinde) without informing Zain. When Aaliya’s hubby saw them, he remembered his promise made to Surraiya to marry Sanam. Zain with a heavy heart had to divorce Aaliya. The lead female protagonist too accepted the separation.

In the upcoming episode, Rehaan (Nandish Sandhu) will reach Zain’s hotel and ask him to hear the recording where Nafisa (Gunjan Vijaya) has accepted her crime of killing Usman (Naved Aslam).

Karan and Ishita think more or less on the same lines nowadays and in Simmi’s case they believe she should not go back to her husband

For the uninitiated, a few months back Parmeet (Anurag Sharma) had misbehaved with  Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) when Raman’s sister Simmi (Shireen Mirza) and he were living in the Bhalla house. Raman (Karan Patel) threw Parmeet out of the house when he learnt of the incident and ordered his sister to stay away from him. Obviously, Simmi still trusts her husband’s every word blindly and continues to meet him.

When Raman and Ishita find out, they decide to let it be and simply keep a watch on them. In the upcoming episode of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Param prepares a legal notice for the Bhallas ordering them to send his wife back to him or agree for a divorce. When Simmi sees the legal notice, she breaks down and begs her hubby to not do this. Back at the Bhalla residency, Raman and Ishita are busy preparing for Aditya (Gautam Ahuja) and Ruhi’s (Ruhanika Dhawan) first raksha bandhan.

According to a source, Simmi will ask Raman’s permission to move back with her husband as a gift on raksha bandhan. Will Raman concede with her request or scream his head off remains to be seen. Watch this space for regular updates on Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.

Raman’s wifey made sweets for her little daughter

While Raman (Karan Patel) and Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) were dealing with several problems recently, it seems things have now settled for the lovebirds. To celebrate their victory against Suraj Khanna, Ishita had planned to surprise her little daughter by making her favourite sweets, Jalebi and Gulab Jamun.

Previously we saw that Ishita learnt to make Jalebi and Gulab Jamun’s in her cooking class. She then decided to make those sweets for Ruhi (Ruhanika Dhawan) on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. Well the little one was pretty surprised with her mother’s sweet gesture.

Meanwhile Simran (Shireen Mirza) wants to go back to Parmeet (Anurag Sharma), however Raman does not allow her to go back home. Raman is getting protective about her sister, and said he doesn’t care if Parmeet wants to divorce Simran.

Aaliya’s hubby finds out that Nafisa is behind Usman’s death

In the last episode we saw that Zain (Harshad Arora) had to divorce Aaliya (Preetika Rao) since Surraiya (Suchitra Pillai) wanted him to marry her friend’s daughter, Sanam (Priya Shinde). Like a dotting son Zain obliged to Surraiya’s wish, however is still madly in love with Aaliya. Rehaan (Nandish Sandhu) was shocked when he heard about Zain and Aaliya’s divorce.

He said he will not let the couple separate and goes to meet Aaliya’s hubby. Rehaan gives Zain the recording wherein Nafisa (Gunjan Vijaya) confesses killing Usman (Naved Aslam). Meanwhile, Surraiya begins Zain’s marriage preparations. The vamp wants her son to get married as soon as possible.

In the upcoming episode, Zain will hear the recording given by Rehaan. He will be shocked to learn that Nafisa is the real culprit and not Aaliya. Elated with the news, he will refuse to marry Sanam.

Divyanka Tripathi’s onscreen daughter was dressed as Barbie

Young star Ruhanika Dhawan has been appreciated for her endearing role as Ruhi in popular show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. But recently Ms Dhawan showed off her completely different avatar wherein she looked both pretty and adorable.

Ruhi recently walked the ramp dressed up in Barbie attire for a fashion show. Confirming the news Ruhanika’s mother said to an entertainment portal, “Ruhanika was very happy being a Barbie as it was her dream come true. This was the first time when she did a ramp walk. She was so excited when she got to know that she will be dressed up like a Barbie. She never complained that she is tired while practicing for the event; she used to do it willingly. She was the showstopper and was wearing Barbie dress.”

Well we must say this young kid is going places with her sheer talent and exuberance. What do you think Bollywoodlifers? Isn’t she just adorable?

Simmi wants to go back to Parmeet. How will Raman and Ishita stop her? Read on to know more…

In the last episode, we saw Simmi declaring that she will be going back to Parmeet (Anurag Sharma). She stated that she would have to do so as she was being threatened by him. Raman(Karan Patel) was infuriated upon hearing this and said that he would not permit her to do the same at any cost. He warned her that would beat her if that’s what it takes to stop her from going back to Parmeet. The episode ended with Simmi packing her bags and leaving her family, including her daughter Ananya.

In the upcoming episode, we will see Ishita(Divyanka Tripathi) visiting Parmeet. Ishita will call him for a meeting, regarding the whole issue concerning Simmi. Parmeet on the other hand will ask Ishita to prove her love for Raman’s sister Simmi. He will state that he is well aware about her fondness towards Simmi but she would have to prove the same nonetheless. He will inform Ishita that he has a plan to get Simmi back but she on the other hand will have to go ahead and make her move.
