Apart from the plot of a show, TV celebs’ style statements hold importance as well. Be it a lavish celebration of some sort, a pooja, or a daily routine even, the characters are heavily dressed for all occasions. Currently, the Mihika- Ashok- Raman- Ishita- Shagun saga continues in the show Yeh Hai Mohababtein. Well I’d like to take a break from all the drama and focus on the ladies and their style statements. Read on:
The traditional Madrasan
South Indian beauty Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) is lovingly called a Madrasan by her doting hubby Raman(Karan Patel). Ishita likes to wear stunning sarees, especially the traditional kinds. Be it a Kanjivaram, a cotton saree or a sequined one for occasions, the beauty pulls them off with elegance and poise. I like how she sports delicate jewellery say a jhumka or a necklace with her attires. She also is seen experimenting with her hairdos, be it a tight bun, side swept curls or long hair left lose. This Madrasan is a vision for sure!
The stylish vamp
Ekta Kapoor makes it a point to make the vamp of the show, stylish of them all. Shagun (Anita Hassanandani) looks stunning as she sheds crocodile tears or schemes a plan, while clad in modern styles sarees. Be it lace, net, or heavy embroidery, I love how Shagun carries them with ease and oomph. What I find the most appealing about her attire is the stylish blouses she wears. Off shoulders and deep cut ones suit her best, topped with her straightened or curled hairdo. Where Shagun rocks the Indian wear, she nails it with western turn outs as well!
The ethnic beauty
Mihika’s (Mihika Verma) signature style statement are her bold maroon lips and heavy eye-liner. The beauty is mostly seen wearing simple styled kurtas with heavy jhumkas. Personally, her style is the one I can relate to the most. I like how she experiments with bright colors say a red, yellow and orange.
