It seems like Ishita is fighting with Shagun all alone. Where is Raman in all this?
Raman and Ishita have finally reached a place where they are at peace and have accepted one another. Though I admire how Raman has supported Ishita all along, I’m of a different opinion when it all boils down to Ishita’s war against Shagun. I feel Raman is not around when Ishita needs him the most. Why isn’t he standing up for her like he should be? Here are 3 reasons why I think Raman is useless in this case:Your daughter is fighting your war
You know a husband is incapable of handling a tricky situation when his daughter is taking charge. Ruhi is at an age where she should be swinging in the park or taking care of a doll house. Instead, she is warning her ex- mom Shagun to stay away from her Ishima. Where is Raman in all this? The ‘protective dad’ and ‘caring husband’ seems to be lost from the scene.
Stand up for Ishita when you need to
One of the most ridiculous scenes in the series was when Mrs Bhalla blamed Ishita for shunning Aditya away. While that was surprising, Raman’s attitude towards the unwarranted blame game appalled me further. Where he should have stood up for Ishita, he instead joined mommy dear in pointing fingers towards her and lashing out. Really Mr Bhalla? Is that the best you can do?
Just tell the vamp to F**k off already!
I understand that Raman is bearing Shagun’s nonsense for Aditya’s sake. But to what extent? It all goes down the drain when his wife Ishita cries herself to sleep every night. This is the same Shagun who LEFT him for another guy and made his life miserable. But what does Raman do? He keeps her at home for Aditya’s happiness and watches as she makes Ishita’s life a living hell. *Slow clap* Being nice is one thing, being stupid is another. Raman, you can always care for Aditya, without having to do too much with Shagun. What are you gonna do next for his sake, jump out of a moving car or light yourself on fire?
