Karan Patel and Divyanka Tripathi as Raman- Ishita in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein

He’s Punjabi, she’s Madrasi. They both are opposites, yet share a unique relationship. Their story certainly reminds us of Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor’s in 2 States. Well barring the different ethnicities, the couple’s journey is also topped with masaledaar elements like an evil ex-wife, a professional rivalry with a colleague and a few tragedies here and there say accidents, kidnappings and fires. Complicated yet complete, this is Raman (Karan Patel) and Ishita’s (Divyanka Tripathi) Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.

Arjit Taneja and Mrunal Thakur as Purab-Bulbul Kumkum Bhagya

Arjit Taneja (Purab) and Mrunal Thakur’s (Bulbul) jodi in Kumkum Bhagya is a great hit with the younger generation. Not only is the actors’ pairing refreshing and appealing, but caters to the youth and that too widely! Where Purab’s boyish persona and charming vibe makes the ladies weak in the knees, Bulbul’s innocence and happy-go-lucky nature intrigues men like no other. The two share a rather sizzling chemistry in the series and give a tough fight to their competitors.

Harshad Arora and Preetika Rao as Zain-Aaliya in Beintehaa

Beintehaa can be credited for its inception of showcasing a love story between Zain (Harshad Arora) and Aaliya (Preetika Rao), belonging from a Muslim background. Though the show has ended, it ruled the charts last year owing to its unique plot and captivating storytelling. The credit partly goes to Zain and Aaliya, who lit up our screens with their happening camaraderie! Zain was the handsome daring hunk, who took his chances while Aaliya played the dainty damsel who supported Zain and took her leap of faith. They certainly completed each other and that’s why they bagged a spot on our list!
