Seen as BSD officer Rudra Paratap Singh in Ragrasiya, the actor soon became a rage owing to his powerful role opposite Sanaya Irani, who played Paro. Though Ashish was seen as an intense and brooding lad in the show, little did you know that he’s the complete opposite in real life. The actor first made heads turn as Mr Bajaj in Star Plus’ old show Kasautii Zindagii Kay and has been ruling Telly land ever since. He is also seen in TV show Adaalat and has been a part of other Bollywood projects like Udaan and Student Of The Year.

Raman has decided to resign from his post in order to maintain peace at home. But will Ishita let him? Read on to know more!

In the last episode, we saw drama unfold like never before. It started with the Bhalla family hosting a godh bharai ceremony for Vandhu. Ruhi was seen enjoying the same and clicking a picture with Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) and Raman (Karan Patel). The three made an adorable family portrait, much to Shagun’s (Anita Hassanandani) displeasure. Things turned sour when the police turned up at the Bhalla household, informing Raman about the missing 5 lacks from his account. Fingers were pointed at Mr Iyer who clarified that he didn’t steal the money. Raman stood up for him and the episode ended on a shocking note where he decided to quit his job.

In the upcoming episode, we will see Ishita talking to Raman about his decision to resign. Raman and Ishita’s misery will be rejoiced by Shagun, no surprises there! Further, Romi (Aly Goni) will visit the hospital with the money and ask for Dr Puri. He will be shocked upon being told that there is no Dr Puri at the hospital.

Uh oh, what will Romi do now? How will he face his family? Also, will Ishita let Raman quit his job so easily? Stay tuned for all the answers right here!

The little girl is indeed on a roll – within a matter of two years she has managed to bag two movies

Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’s Ruhi aka Ruhanika Dhawan has vowed everyone with her performance, doe-eyes and mischief. She is probably one of the most loved child actors on television at the moment –for completely justified reasons.

According to the latest update, the child artist has bagged a role in Sunny Deol and Tisca Chopra’s Ghayal 2. Last year, she debuted with Salman Khan’s Jai Ho and this year it is Ghayal 2. A few days back we had told you about Sunny teaching the little girl Punjabi, well now we know the real reason behind their meet and greet.

Ruhi’s mother Dolly Dhawan confirmed the news regarding her role in Ghayal 2 but she couldn’t divulge any details about the child’s character in the movie. It seems Sunny Deol is extremely fond of the talkative little girl. In fact, we’ve heard that he calls Ruhanika his Snow White. Awww… Now isn’t that just too cute?

We wish Ruhi aka Ruhanika all the luck in the world for her big Bollywood break… let’s hope there’s a lot more to come her way. Fingers crossed!

I think it’s high time Shagun be asked to buzz off. Why can’t Raman and Ishita understand this?

With every episode I fail to understand why Raman and Ishita continue to be hosts to Shagun. Apart from the fact that she is making their lives a living hell, she is also made to believe that she simply can. I’m fed up of Raman and Ishita’s dim wit and inability to understand the need to throw Shagun out of the house. Here are 3 reasons why they should just do so:

It is all self explanatory

Shagun left Raman for another man. Now she is back to steal Raman from Ishita. And what do these two do? They keep her at home and continue to be a butt of all her vicious plans. *slow clap* They claim they are doing this for Aditya’s happiness, the same boy who continues to plot against Ishita under his mother Shagun’s influence. How about clearing out his head for a change instead of simply doing all you can for his happiness?

Stop her before she gets in

Not only is Shagun tricking Raman and Ishita, but is using other family members for the same purpose. We recently saw her manipulating Romi and convincing him to steal money from Raman’s account. Romi was dumb enough to fall into her trap. As for Raman and Ishita, if this isn’t enough for them to realize what Shagun is capable of, I don’t know what is!

A pointless war

Ishita has decided to make Shagun pay for her sins. But what is the need I ask? Why go through all that trouble to prove a point? It would be much simpler if Ishita simply tells Shagun to f**k off and never show her face again. By giving her so much importance, Ishita is simply wasting her time. Ishita’s war was supposed to be between her and Shagun alone. But now all the Bhalla female members have been included in the plan. And how are they going about it? By plotting against Shagun in hush hush tones, getting her room painted so that she moves out, and blah blah. Ishita went to the extent of asking Mrs Bhalla to gain Shagun’s confidence in order to mislead her. Oh my god, woman!

Well that is a rather typical picture, isn’t it? I think it’s time for some of our favourite TV couples to break away from the overdone gestures and add spice to their love lives. Here are some suggestions:Just do it!

We have given up on Raman and Ishita in terms of them confessing their love to one another. Instead, the two could maybe share an insanely intimate moment that could take us by a surprise! Ekta Kapoor has experimented with actors Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar in Bade Accha Lagte Hain. The producer got those two to not only get cosy, but lock lips as well. We wonder why she isn’t doing something similar with Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel. After all, we are so DONE with them grooving to songs in their bedroom or coming close and then being interrupted. Spice it up IshRa, you really need to!

Get out before it’s too late

We recently saw Bulbul confessing her love for Purab, stating that if he married someone else, she wouldn’t be able to survive. Ah well isn’t that sweet? I think Purab and Bulbul have tolerated enough nonsense with Aaliya making both their lives a living hell. They deserve a break don’t they? I suggest that the two take a romantic trip together this V Day! They could book a fancy resort, do a night out or get crazy and land up in a different state altogether. Now wouldn’t that be fun to see?

Get a room, literally

Sandhya and Sooraj have reunited after ages and we think it’s high time this couple gets some privacy. Now we aren’t merely talking about the same in terms of their romantic or intimate moments but it would be great to see them living apart from the Rathis for a bit. The two are constantly surrounded by family members, Bhabho or Babasa. We think the two should decide to rent an apartment this V day and openly declare their decision, without fearing the reaction of their family members. After all, jab pyaar kiya toh darna kya? *wink wink*

The much awaited Star Valentine’s celebration was showcased on Star Plus last night and we caught the who’s who of Telly land giving us some rather mesmerising performances. Some more glamour was added to this starry starry night with the presence of Varun Dhawan! The actor promoted his upcoming film Badlpaur and also, took the opportunity to romance Divyanka Tripathi aka Ishita from Yeh Hai Mohabbatein!

That’s right folks, Mr Dhawan was seen getting cozy with Ishita and trying his hand at charming her. The actor stated that he would love to whisk her away for a romantic night, as she was hardly paid attention to by her husband Raman (Karan Patel) Ah well, Ishita didn’t think about it twice and was happily seen obliging to Varun’s oh-so-sweet gesture! We bet the beauty did it to irk Raman, who was seen closely observing all the drama. Varun brought on his typical good boy charm and attempted to floor Ishita with his chichora ishtyle…

Is it the end of the road for TV’s most popular kids? Read on to find out!

Gone are those days when child artists were considered as the third wheel of leading TV shows. Today, some of them have a fan following greater than the main leads of various TV series owing to their immense popularity. Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’s Ruhanika Dhawan aka Ruhi and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’s Shivansh Kotia aka Naksh are clear examples. But is the end of the road for these famous TV kids?

Nah folks, don’t jump to conclusions without knowing the whole story! The fact is simple, where these child artists have exams coming up in the month of March and hence would be taking time off from their shoots in order to prepare for the same. While some have been given two weeks’ time off, there are others carrying their study material to the sets and preparing in between shoots.

Producer of Udaan Gurudev Bhalla while talking about Spandan Chaturvedi aka Chakor said,” Spandan being the protagonist of the show, we have to take extra care of her studies as she is needed in most of the scenes. She is going on a break in March for around a week. Other child artists in the show don’t have a long role like her, so we try and give holidays to each of them separately so that the shooting does not get disrupted. We make sure that they don’t neglect their studies as it’s equally important.”

So how are TV shows going to carry on in the month of March with their absence? “Child artists today don’t have exams that go on for continuous days, so if they get a couple of holidays in between, they come on the set, do their part and leave. Secondly, we also have a bank of 10-12 episodes ready, so that we don’t have to worry, if they take leave for a week or two,” clarified Bhalla.

Other actors who will be missing from the scene in March are Yeh Hai Mohababtein’s Guatam Ahuja aka Aditya, Baal Veer’s Dev Joshi and Raavi’s Rimmi Srivastav.

I might as well have seen another episode from Yeh Hai Mohabbatein where the two are seen pulling off similar stints

I recently penned down my displeasure regarding the obsessive need the makers of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein have to make Raman and Ishita dance to their tunes. I meant this sentence in the most literal way possible. We have all seen the couple either pulling off a salsa number, dancing in the rain, or shaking a leg to old Hindi songs in their bedroom. Raman and Ishita never let go off an opportunity to break into a dance and the same was turning out to be a snooze fest indeed.

I was looking forward to their performance on the special episode of Valentine’s Day which was aired on Star Plus last night. I was left disappointed and with a feeling of déjà vu. Why? Here are my reasons:

Nothing different

Like I stated, Karan and Divyanka’s performance was a reminder of their TV gimmicks in YHM. The two were seen pulling off a “romantic” dance sequence on the song Mohabbat barsa de which instantly took me back to their intimate rain dance on the number Kabhi Jo badal Barse. Where is the originality? I wish the two could for something fun yet romantic. It doesn’t have to be rain, balloons or flowers all the live long day.

That awkward moment

I like how Karan was swaying easily to the tunes of the song. Divyanka on the other hand seemed awkward and out of place. She came across as stiff and lacked spontaneity which ruined the possible chemistry she could have shared with her co-star!

When rain curbs the flying sparks

Karan and Divyanka usually set the stage on fire with their mesmerizing performances. I still remember their memorable stint in last year’s Star Parivaar Awards but their act last night just proved that the two seem to have lost their touch. Their camaraderie wasn’t convincing and the two appeared to be merely dancing together, but not living the moment.

In the last episode, we saw confusion and miscommunication taking the front seat. Raman (Karan Patel) was shocked to see a belly dancer in his room. She stated that his wife Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) had sent her to entertainment him. She started performing for him and Raman was freaked out. Ishita entered the room and was shocked to see the belly dancer, stating that she wasn’t aware about her. The confusion was cleared later on where Ishita learnt that she took the number of the belly dancer instead of the interior from Dr Batra and called her by mistake. The episode ended on a happy note where Raman showed Ishita the medical reports, telling her that she can be a mother.

Ishita isn’t considering having a child with Raman as she has stated that she has everything she could ask for; him, Ruhi and the Bhalla family. However, I see it as a wonderful opportunity for her, where Ishita can raise a child and be a mother, something she is already so good at. Wouldn’t it be great if Raman and Ishita raise a baby together?

Mihika Verma is one of those rare TV actresses who speak their mind and aren’t afraid of doing the same. The actress is seen playing Mihika, in Star Plus’ hit show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. The beauty’s character is currently shown as being married to Ashok, the same lad who made Raman, Ishita and Shagun’s life a living hell. The track involved Mihika giving up her union with Mihir(Raj Singh Arora) and marrying Ashok(Sangram Singh), in order to protect Mihir from the latter’s vicious plan.Where Ishita is known to be the damsel in distress who sacrifices her happiness for others, Mihika seems to have taken the crown now. We hear that the actress wishes for the makers of YHM to stop portraying her as a bechari in the show. Relating to the same, Mihika while talking to a leading entertainment portal stated,” We already have an effective love triangle between Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi), Raman (Karan Patel )and Shagun (Anita Hassanandani) so don’t need more rona dhona.”

The actress, however, is glad to bag the role because of her mentor Ekta Kapoor and is grateful to her. “I will forever remain indebted to Ekta for she is my mentor. This role has been a game changer in my life. One big show catapults you to new heights.”

Aditya isn’t ready with his school project. Will Ishita come to his rescue? Read on to find out!

In the last episode, we saw Ishita (Divyanka Tripayhi) and Aditya sharing a special moment. Ishita was seen bringing Chinese food for Aditya, who savored every bite. Aditya thanked Ishita for the gesture and went to bed. Later, Ruhi was in trouble for having deleted Raman’s (Karan Patel) files from his computer by mistake. Raman went to office without preparing for his presentation. Ruhi and Aditya were seen preparing for a swacch bharat abhiyan school project which they had to showcase the next day. The episode ended with Ishita learning that Aditya’s project hadn’t been prepared.

In the upcoming episode, we will see Raman’s boss losing his cool over Raman’s unpreparedness. He will ask Raman to take rest and will state that he would have to assign the unfinished project to someone else. Meanwhile, Ishita will pity Aditya’s situation as he will be without a project at the last minute whereas her daughter Ruhi will be well prepared.

How will Ishita help Aditya? Will she manage to come up with an idea and complete it in time for him? Stay tuned to find out!

Spandan Chaturvedi is seen as Chakor in this show. Playing a character who is caught in the unfortunate social issue of bonded labour in her village, Chakor’s innocence is something that appeals to many. The girl is often seen hopping about in the show, with her two piggytails in the air, which makes her adorable.

Ayaan Rathore-Tumhari Pakhi

Divyam Dama is seen playing Ayaan in the show. A boy trying to deal with his father’s (Anshuman Rathore) troubled past and his step mother (Pakhi), Divyam’s character in the show isn’t happy go lucky as rest of the kids. Nonetheless, the actor is well liked for his performance and the ability to portray a role like that.

Shaurya Rathore- Doli Armaanon Ki

Playing Shaurya, Mitansh Gera’s character in the show is prominent as is seen playing the victim of a troubled marriage between his parents Samrat( Mohit Malik) and Urmi( Neha Marda). The kid strikes an empathetic chord with the viewers and the same certainly works in his favour.

Ishita might think that her relationship is strengthening with Aditya. But is it really? Read on to know more!

Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) and Aditya had a bad start. Where Ms goody two shoes- Ishita- always tried a hand at making Aditya happy, the latter would always shun her away. Things, however, took a turn in the last episode where Aditya and Ishita were seen bonding over some Chinese food. Ishita fed a starving Aditya, who savoured every bite. Also, Ishita came to Aditya’s rescue where she asked Ruhi to share her project with Aditya in the Swacch Bharat Abhiyan contest in school.

All this kindness might be making you believe that Ishita is doing the right thing. But here are 3 reasons why I believe the south Indian beauty is making matters only worse:

Don’t irk the lioness

Ishita is getting closer to Aditya, who is Shagun’s (Anita Hassanandani) son and only weapon. She might be unintentionally the cause for Aditya’s growing distance with Shagun, but needs to realize this and that too, soon. Aditya and Ishita’s closeness will only irk Shagun further. She is already attempting to make Ishita’s life a living hell. Can you imagine what will happen when her son is taken away from her? Till now Shagun was only sharpening her claws but soon she will pounce!

The choosing game is tough to play

Ishita is showering Aditya with her love. But this can make Ruhi feel left out and the same could invite more trouble. The last thing Ishita needs is to choose between Ruhi and Aditya. What will she do when she faces a situation like this in the near future?

Manipulation comes easy to vamps

While Ishita will be busy paying attention to Aditya, Shagun will take the opportunity to irk Ruhi against her. Though she failed to do the same the first time, who’s to say she won’t do it again? This will be a tough situation for Ishita to handle, right folks?

It’s a tricky situation for Ishita- on one hand, she needs to make thing better with Aditya while on the other, she also needs to be careful so as not ruin her relation with Ruhi. Also if she’s caring for Aditya who, in turn, is warming up to her, Ishita needs to beware of Shagun.

Star Plus’ hit show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein is all set to see a new hunk entering the plotline. After Sumeet Sachdeva’s short lived stint as Ishita’s (Divyanka Tripathi) bestie- Mani- Hargun Grover will be seen playing Nikhil in the series! For the uninitiated, Nikhil is the lad who will be getting hitched to Raman’s sister Rinki.We hear the actor has already started shooting for the scenes in the show. In the last episode, we saw Raman (Karan Patel) being shocked upon learning that his project has been assigned to Mihir who will be taking care of it. Further, Ishita succeeded in convincing Rinki to meet Dimple’s brother and requested Raman to resign from his job. Aditya, on the other hand, was tensed upon being ordered to take his school fees from Raman.

In the upcoming episode, we will see Rinki approving of Nikhil and their Roka ceremony taking place. But a twist in the tale will come in when the Bhallas will figure out that there’s something fishy about Nikhil and his family!

Despite being shifted to an early slot, Star Plus’ Ek Veer Ki Ardaas Veera is going strong with 2.8 TRP.

Everest on Star Plus is in its last leg and has so far never been able to garner high TRPs. This week too it has only attracted 1.4.

Zee TV’s Bandhan is also skirting low with 1.1 TRP.
