Saath Nibhaana Saathiya makes a whopping comeback

The BARC report for 34 is out! Sriti Jha and Shabbir Ahluwalia’s Kumkum Bhagya on Zee TV retains the number one position while Brahmarakshas – Jaag Utha Shaitan takes the second spot. Divyanka Tripathi’s Yeh Hai Mohabbatein jumped back in top five. Saath Nibhaana Saathiya made a huge comeback, rose from 12th to 3rd position. Colors’s Shakti- Astitiva Ke Ehsaas Ki managed to stay in the top-five list. The Kapil Sharma Show continued to rock in the urban areas.

Top 10 channels (Urban + Rural):StarPlus take the first position while Star Utsav fell down to fifth.Zee TV follows close on the second spot and Colors takes close number three. Top 5 shows (Rural): Jodha Akbar and Bandini continued to top the list. Saath Nibhaana Sathiya saw a huge progress in the rural belts too. Kumkum Bhagya retained its position in the list of top five shows.

While all-time-TRP toppers like Kumkum Bhagya and Yeh Hai Mohabbatein retained the top positions, the week saw the rise of old shows like Saath Nibhaana Saathiya

And Kumkum Bhagya team does it again! The show has been on the top of the game since the last five weeks now. Abhi’s (Shabbir Ahluwalia) memory loss seems to have worked wonders for the show. While all the shows were going in for time leaps, this show took a U-turn and went for a rewind. Clearly the audience is loving the new refreshed avatars of their favourite characters and is enjoying Phuggi (Sriti Jha) and Abhi’s journey.

Saath Nibhaana Saathiya took a giant leap and hopped on the third position this week. The show was always a hit among the viewers but the recent exit of lead actor Mohammad Nazim had hugely affected the show’s TRPs. However, his re-entry has revived the show.

Another show that is doing well on small screen is Zee TV’s fantasy drama Brahmarakshas – Jaag Utha Shaitan. Despite of bad graphics (something which is extremely important for a supernatural show), the Krystle D’souza and Aham Sharma starrer has been fairing exceedingly well on TRP charts.

Yeh Hai Mohabbatein had fell down from the list of top five shows last week. Raman (Karan Patel) and Ishita’s (Divyanka Tripathi) role-reversal didn’t seem to have worked for the show. But, Aaliya, Mihir and Adi’s love triangle and Pihu’s emotional blackmail helped revive the TRPs of the show.

Colors’ Shakti-Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki has shown a steady progress. It has been showing in the top five list for the past three weeks now. It’s the first time that such a hard-hitting topic has made its way to the small-screen. Apart from Rubina Dilaik, Vivian Dsena, Reena Kapoor and Kamya Punjabi’s acting, the twist and turns have kept the audience’s interest alive in the show.

The Kapil Sharma Show has also been fairing exceedingly well in the urban areas. Kapil has come out as a clear winner in the battle against Krushna Abhishek and Bharti Singh’s roast comedy show Comedy Nights Bachao. His show has become all Bollywood stars’ first choice for film promotions.

Star Plus’ Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Diya Aur Baati Hum and ZEE TV’s Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani managed to stay within the list of top 12 shows. Remo D’souza’s Dance+ season two, which was on fourth position last week, dropped to the eleventh position this week. Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasmah stood steady at 9th position. Colors’ shows Sasural Simar Ka, Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki and Kawach…Kaali Shaktiyon Se touched rock bottoms this week.

So, will Ruhi join Shagun mumma on Comedy Nights Bachao Season 2? Read on to find out!

According to a report on an entertainment portal, Aditi Bhatia, who is currently seen as Ruhi in Star Plus’ TRP topper Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, is all set to do a new show. If the reports are to be believed then she will soon be seen in the next instalment of Colors’ popular comedy show Comedy Nights Bachao. The show is coming up with Season 2 and it’s being said that Aditi will be one of the gang members, joining Krushna Abhishek, Bharti Singh and Yeh Hai Mohabbatein co-star Anita Hassanandani. However when contacted, she said, “Yes, I have been approached but nothing is confirmed yet.”

Few weeks back reports had sprung up that the roast format of Comedy Nights Bachao is creating problems for Krushna Abhishek and company. It was being said that it’s deterring Bollywood A-listers from coming on his show. Krushna had also admitted that he will tone down the format of the show. In an earlier interview he said, “We will tone it down (the roast format) if actors are not comfortable. We want them to come on our show…” So is the season two a toned down version of the earlier show? Well, we will have to wait and see.

Some were also blaming the abrupt end of Comedy Nights Live for the failure of the show. The show, which aired every Sunday, suddenly went missing from the run up and was replaced by Comedy Nights Bachao. “Ever since Comedy Nights With Kapil was replaced by Comedy Nights Live, the weekend comedy slot on Colors has been suffering a slump. The problem was that the two different shows — Comedy Nights Bachao and Comedy Nights Live, which ran on two consecutive weekend nights on the same channel, struggled to establish their individual identity and failed miserably because both the shows featured the same comedians…,” said a source close to the channel. Also, Jhalak Dikkhlaa Jaa season 9 took the 10 pm slot on Saturday which pushed Comedy Nights Bachao to Sunday. Clearly all is not honky dory on Krushna’s show.

Whatever may the reason be, we hope the season two revives the show’s popularity.

Shagun’s plan fails

Ishita’s (Divyanka Tripathi) hears some noise in the hospital. She looks around in the entire hospital. She enters a room and finds it decorated with candles. Suddenly flowers start showering on her. Raman (Karan Patel) comes from behind. She hugs her and thanks him. He tells her that it was their children’s plan. Raman brings her favourite food. Ishita blushes and says she feels like a teenager all over again. Raman apologizes for all that she had to go through. Raman tells her that Adi has fallen in love with Aaliya. Raman and Ishita continue having lunch.

Romi’s (Aly Goni) wife shares her problems with Akka. She tells her that she has a friend whose husband has started avoiding her and has started behaving strangely. Akka suggests filing a divorce. Romi’s wife gets tensed and decides to talk to Sanchi. Sanchi’s neighbours ask her to vacate her house. Romi comes and says he is her fiance. She scolds him for lying. Romi’s wife sees everything.

Shagun (Anita Hassanandani) gifts Pihu (Ruhanika Dhawan) a  barbie doll. Pihu tells  Shagun that Raman has gone to a clinic. Shagun gets worried and calls him. Shagun hears Ishita’s voice. She decides to expose Raman in front of Pihu. Aaliya (Krishna Mukherjee) sees this. Aaliya tells this to Adi. Adi says that maybe Raman would have sent them together and asks her not to tell anyone. Aadi goes and asks about Ishita. He understands that Raman and Ishita are together. He gets reminded that Shagun has taken Pihu to the clinic.He calls Raman and tells him that Shagun is bringing Pihu there.

Raman and Ishita start panicking. Shagun pretends to have a bad tooth ache. Pihu tells her that Shagun needs treatment. Ishita takes her away to her cabin.

Shagun and Nidhi make a plan to expose Aaliya’s love for Mihir

Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) takes Shagun (Anita Hassanandani) to her cabin. Shagun says she is fine now. Ishita asks Pihu (Ruhanika Dhawan) to convince Shagun to sit. Pihu asks Ishita to start her treatment. Ishita acts funny and brings out an injection. Raman (Karan Patel) looks on and smiles. She injects anaesthesia in her mouth. Shagun finds it difficult to speak. Ishita asks Pihu to take her back. Raman and Ishita laugh. Raman asks about her. Ishita says she has just put anaesthesia in her mouth, she will not be able to speak for some time, that’s it.

Mihika comes and scolds Romi (Aly Goni) for cheating on her with Sanchi. He gives an explanation. She refuses to believe him. Romi leaves.

Shagun drops Pihu home. She sees Aaliya and Aadi sitting together and working. She asks Aaliya what is she doing here. Aaliya asks her why  she is speaking in this weird manner. Shagun tells her that has pain in her teeth. Shagun asks Aaliya to come along.  Aadi tries to stop her from going. Aaliya says the work is over and she should leave. Shagun tells Aaliya that her earring is missing. Aaliya tries to find it but cannot find. They leave. Shagun turns and sees Aaliya’s earring in Adi’s hand.

Shagun tells Nidhi that Adi loves Aaliya but she loves Mihir. Nidhi gives her an idea. She tells her that if they somehow stop Aadi from going to Delhi with Aaliya and Mihir then they will be able to prove that he loves Aaliya. Then Ishita will have to choose between Aaliya and Aadi.

Ishita prepares Raman for Pihu’s cooking competition but he argues and asks her not to help him. He gets his food burnt. Ishita gets worried. Adi calls Mihir and tells him that Pihu has called her at her school as she wants him to support Raman. Mihir says okay. Aaliya asks Mihir if she can accompany him to the meeting. He agrees.

Aaliya calls Shagun and tells her she is going for a meeting with Mihir. At the cooking competition, Raman gets his hand burnt while cooking. Pihu goes and asks Ishita to help Raman as she is a doctor. Raman and Ishita smile seeing Pihu. Pihu feels guilty. Ishita applies cream on Raman’s fingers. Raman says he is happy to see Pihu getting close to Ishita.

Raman gets a special award for participating in cooking compedition

Raman (Karan Patel) and Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) discuss about Pihu. Pihu feels guilty. Shagun (Anita Hassanandani) says that it was Ishita’s fault. She says Raman didn’t allow her to participate in the cooking competition with Pihu because Ishita had asked him to. Ruhi and Aadi see this. Ruhi scolds Shagun for brainwashing Pihu. Raman feels bad that he let down Pihu. Ishita tells him he can’t back out as he is Pihu’s super hero. All ladies come and say that the fact that he participated is a big thing in itself.

Mihika cries and gets worried about her and Romi’s (Aly Goni) relationship. She calls Sanchi and starts screaming on her. Romi takes her mobile and scolds her for over reacting and says he was just helping her. She refuses to believe. He gets frustrated and leaves.Sanchi calls Romi and asks him why doesn’t he tell her the truth. Mihika packs her bags and leaves the house.

Pihu asks if Raman is fine. Compedition resumes. Ishita smiles seeing Pihu helping Raman. Shagun thinks he will never be able to win and Pihu hates loosing. A parent comes and asks Ishita to participate on her behalf. Ishita gives hints to Raman. Shagun sees them and gets irritated. Ruhi taunts Shagun that Raman is doing everything so nicely.

Judge comes and tastes all dishes. Judge praises all the dishes and announces the winners. Everyone gets dissapointed not listening Raman’s name. Shagun thinks now Pihu will make him realize that he should have let her participated with Pihu. Judge comes and announces a special gift to Raman.

Mihir praises Aaliya for working hard on the project. Suddenly their car’s tyre gets punctured. He gets out to change the tyre and asks Aaliya to sit inside. Goons come and attack Mihir. Mihir instructs Aaliya to stay inside. Goons stab Mihir with a knife. Aaliya beats them with sticks and pus them away. They run. Aaliya panicks seeing blood all over on Mihir. Mihir asks her to leave. Aaliya says she won’t leave him alone.

Ishita gets shocked to bits!

Mihir (Raj Singh Arora) gets stabbed by goons. Aaliya(Krishna Mukherjee) somehow manages to and send them away. She starts crying seeing blood all over Mihir. She panics and calls Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) and asks her to come to the hospital. She takes Mihir to hospital and get him admitted there.

At the hospital, the nurse informs her that he will have to be operated and they are waiting for a blood donor. Aaliya asks the nurse to take her blood. Nurse says she can’t take her blood as her haemoglobin is too less. Aaliya shouts and insists her to take her blood. She threatens her that she will ruin them if anything happens to Mihir. Nurse asks her to calm down. She gets surprised at her behaviour. She tells her that she is such a brave girl, she fought with the goons and brought Mihir here at just the right time then why is she behaving so weirdly. Aaliya says she is not brave and starts crying.

Just then Ishita comes. She asks Aaliya why is she shouting. Nurse asks Ishita to take care of her as she has totally lost it. Ishita tries to comfort her and says that they have found a blood donor and the doctors have started Mihir’s operation. She asks Aaliya to change and take rest. Aaliya refuses to move from there. Ishita tells her that the operation will atleast take three four hours and there is no point standing out of the ward like this. She pulls her and asks her to take some refreshments.

Aaliya looses it and jerks her hand off. She yells on Ishita and asks her to leave. She says why can’t she understand that she can’t leave Mihir’s side. Ishita thinks maybe she is still in shock of the whole incident. She again tries to convince her. In her turmoil, Aaliya blurts out that she loves Mihir and will not leave him until he gets well.

Ishita gets shocked and asks her if she is in her senses. Aaliya says she is perfectly fine and repeats that she loves Mihir. Ishita becomes dumbstuck. Then everyone else from the family comes.

How will Ishita handle this situation ? Will she tell Raman and Mihir about this ? What will be Aadi’s reaction ? We will have to wait and watch. Till then stay tuned for more exciting updates on Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.

Aadi comes to know that Aaliya loves Mihir

Shagun (Anita Hassanandani) tells Mani that Shagun is very mature and responsible. Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi )  calls and informs Mani about Mihir’s accident. Doctor comes and informs Aaliya that Mihir is critical.She starts shouting on doctor. Ishita tries to calm her down. Ruhi tells Raman (Karan Patel ) that Ishita and Aaliya are at hospital.Ishita scolds Aaliya and asks her to behave herself. Aadi comes. Aaliya hugs her tightly. Aadi comforts her and says everything will be okay. Ishita comes and sees Aaliya and Aaddi together. Aadi asks her about Mihir.

Miheeka cries in her bedroom. Akka comes and finds her sleeping. She notices tears in her eyes. Akka gets worried thinking about her. Sanchi asks Romi to tells Miheeka everything. Romi asks her to leave and tells her he can’t tell her. Akka sees her.

Aaliya dreams of a going on a romantic date with Mihir. She shares romantic moments with him. In the dream, Mihir asks her to tell him that she loves him. He confesses that he loves her. Suddenly he gets stabbed. Aaliya suddenly wakes up and takes Mihir’s name. She starts running towards the ward. Ishita tries to stop her but Aaliya goes out of control. Ishita slaps her and makes her realize the age difference between Mihir and Aaliya. She asks her not to tell anyone else that he loves Mihir. Shagun sees this. She goes and tells Mani that Ishita rasied her hand on Aaliya. Mani says Ishita has all the rights to do that as she is her mother. Shagun apologizes and makes a plan to break his trust.

Ishita asks Aadi to take Aaliya out. She apologizes to Mani for raising her hand on his daughter. He says it’s al right. Shagun sees this. Aadi takes her out to a cafe. Aaliay says she doesn’t want to eat anything. He gives her a glass of water. She throws it away. She starts shouting and says she can’t stay away from Mihir as she loves him. Aadi gets heartbroken to hear this. She hugs him. He leaves. He goes to the loo and cries uncontrollably. He starts slapping himself. He washes his face. Something falls from his pocket. He removes a chain from it and cries.

Aadi yells at Ishita

Raman (Karan Patel) reaches the hospital. He asks where is Aaliya (Krishna Mukherjee). Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) says he has sent her out with Aadi. He tells her that Aadi is going to propose Aaliya today and he has even brought a gift for her. Ishita asks isn’t it too early. Raman says they are not getting them married, there is no harm in proposing. Ishita gets worried thinking how to tell Raman about Aaliya’s feelings.

Doctor comes and informs them that Mihir is out of danger. Raman calls at home and informs everybody that he is out of danger now. Akka comes to Bhalla house and Ruhi informs her that Mihir is out of danger. Akka asks how did he get so late. He says he had work. Mummyji says he will ask Romi. Akka stops her.

Raman, Ishita, Shagun and Romi visit Mihir. He says he should have listened to Aaliya and have stayed in the office. Aaliya comes and asks about Mihir. Ishita asks about Aadi. Aaliya tells he left. Ishita asks has she told him about Mihir.Aaliya says she thought there is nothing to hide. She leaves saying he will discuss it later.

Raman comes and asks Ishita why is she looking so worried. He asks about Aadi. She tells him that he has left. Raman asks her to leave. At home, Akka tells Mummyji about Sanchi and Romi. Romi also enters that moment.

Aaliya meets Mihir and asks her if he is feeling better. Mihir thanks her and asks her to go and rest. Everyone asks her to leave but Aaliya insists to stay with Mihir. Everyone scolds her and asks her to go home. Shagun sees this and smirks.

Shagun explains to Aaliya that she knows she wants to stay back and asks her to share her feelings with her. Aaliya tells Shagun that he loves Mihir. Aaliya says she knows she will get angry. Shagun says she isn’t angry at all. Shagun says she is happy for her and Mihir is lucky to have a girl like her.

Ishita looks for Aadi in the house. He sees Aadi pelting a stone on the street. He shouts on her and says why didn’t she tell him. Ishita tries to calm her down but he refuses to listen.She tells her that she herself got to know about it in the hospital. He starts shouting on her and says why didn’t she tell him the moment she got to know.She says Aaliya just has a crush on Mihir and that it’s just momentary. Aadi shouts on her and says how can she think that it’s momentary. He says Aaliya is madly in love with Mihir mamu. He leaves. Ishita cries.

In the morning, everyone stops Aadi. He shouts on everyone. Dadi asks her to have breakfast. He shouts on her and leaves for office. Ruhi gets scared seeing him behave so strangely.

Akka asks Mihika if she is fine. Raman asks everyone to come out. He asks about Aadi. Ruhi tells him that he looked very frustrated. Raman says why is he behaving so wieredly and decides to call him. Ishita stops him. Ruhi says he might be busy.

We wonder how he manages to find himself in controversies all the time

Yeh Hai Mohabbatein is seeing Karan Patel at his best as the emotional Raman Bhalla who is struggling to solve problems in his children, Adi (Abhishek Verma) and Ruhi’s (Aditi Bhatia) life. However, the actor has again found himself in a soup as far as reports of misbehavior is concerned. As per a report in an entertainment portal, the actor threw a big tantrum on the sets when he refused to wear a T-shirt given by the production. He refused to budge till a new tee was brought for him. It seems the shoot was stalled and the scene was completed only on the next day. His co-stars were extremely upset with his unprofessional attitude. They felt it was sad on his part to behave in such an un-co-operative manner.

When Bollywood Life contacted Karan, he said, “This is bullshit. I don’t know where these stories come from. It is utter rubbish.” We guess he too must be tired of tales of his alleged misbehaviour on the sets. Around three weeks back, we heard that he had a tiff with the makers as he was upset about his character/track was progressing on the show. The hunk it seems had a heated discussion with the creatives over the lack of importance given to Raman’s character. Karan denied any sort of fall out whatsoever. Prior to that, he had tweeted something that created panic that the actor was going to quit the show.

We heard how the actor threw a fit when water tankers were brought to film a rain sequence for the show. He protested saying that it was unfair to use water for shoot when everyone was facing water scarcity in the city. Controversies just don’t seem to stay away from him. He was also accused of behaving badly with the media at Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya’s wedding reception in Mumbai. Post that, the actor sent out a long note clarifying his actions. During the BCL, there were tales of a spat between him and bestie Anita Hassanandani.

Aadi behaves strangely at office

Aaliya (Krishna Mukherjee) hogs on food. Romi asks her to eat properly. Aaliya says she has to leave. Romi says she will not step out today, she will stay at home and rest. Aaliya argues. Shagun makes Romi understand that he should let her go. She says she will take her along to the hospital. Mani leaves for office. Mummyji stops him and asks him where is he going. Mani tells her that someone will come and give some papers and asks her to give it to Mihika. Mummyji tells this to Akka. Akka gets worried thinking if these are divorce papers.

Ruhi gives a rose to Mihir. Mihir asks about Aadi. Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) turns back and gets worried. Raman (Karan Patel) tells him that he is in office handling all the responsibilites. Niurse comes and asks about Mihir’s girlfirend. Everyone gets surprised. Raman clears her doubts and says you should have seen her yesterday. Ishita gets worried and asks her to leave. Ruhi notices this. She thinks about Aadi.

Nurses apologises to Ishita. Ishita sees Ruhi and changes her statement and thanks nurse and asks her to leave. Ruhi asks Ishita if she is fine. Ishita says she needs to give fruits to Mihir. Ruhi says she knows she is hididng something from her and tells her she is with her. Ishita leaves.

At office, Aadi gets reminded of all the things Aaliya said. A client comes and says if Mihir is not there he will not talk to Aadi. Aadi gets angry and looses it on him. He suspends him and throws her out of the office. A peon makes the client understand that he is

Aaliya hugs Mihir. Shagun sees this. He slightly pushes her away and thanks her for saving his life. Aaliya starts feeding him with her own hands. He tells her that he has already eaten.

Mummyji comes and hands over the papers to Akka. Mihika comes and asks what’s the matter. Paper falls on the floor and Mihika picks it up, Mihika opens the seal and read the papers. She gets shocked to see the papers and leaves. Mummy ji gets tensed.

At the hospital, Raman insists taking Mihir home. Shagun says she will take him to her home. Aaliya gets happy. Mihir says he will go to Raman’s house. Ishita gets worried thinking about Aadi.

Raman gets a call from office. He calls Aadi and scolds him for raising his hand on a worker. Ishita comes and cuts the phone. Karan asks what’s the matter. He tells him that he has been noticing her behaviour, she is not the same person. He tells her that there Aadi is behaving strangely and here you are so lost. Ishita tells her that Aadi has come to know that Aaliya loves Mihir and now he is heartbroken,

Raman refuses to believe it at first. He gets reminded of what the nurse was saying. He gets angry on Aaliya. Ishita says she is a child and she is just infatuated with Mihir. Raman scolds her for defending Aaliya. He says he will not let Mihir stay in his house where Aadi is here. Ishita tries to explain him that Aaliya will be there at Shagun’s house and they can’t let them stay in a house. Raman says he doesn’t care about Aaliya. He is just concerned about his son.

Meanwhile in Mihir’s ward, Shagun and Aaliya try to convince Mihir to come with them. Mihir tells Raman that he will stay with Shagun. Raman angrily looks at Aaliya and says that even he thinks that Mihir should go to Shagun’s place. Aaliya looks down. Raman leaves saying he has work at office.

Every week we look forward to the TRPs with great deal of interest. It brings joys to fans and also gives us an idea, which show needs to spruce up its act. As expected, Kumkum Bhagya has topped the charts. People are loving this phase on the show, where Pragya (Sriti Jha) and Abhi (Shabbir Ahluwalia) are again love. The other shows that did well are Saath Nibhana Saathiya, Shakti…Astitve Ke Ehsaas Ki, Brahmarakshas and Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Here is a detailed look…

The top Hindi channels GECs(Urban + Rural):  The line up was like 1. Star Plus, 2. Zee TV, 3. Colors, 4. Zee Anmol, 5. Star Utsav, 6. Life Ok, 7. Sony PAL, 8. Sony SAB, 9. Sony Entertainment Television and 10. Rishtey. The first three spots were constant from last week but it was the rest that saw fluctuations. Sony Entertainment Television had a fall from the fifth spot to the ninth position. We guess it was because The Kapil Sharma Show did not fare in the top five.

Top shows Hindi GECs (Urban): Kumkum Bhagya is on the top slot. People are loving the romance of Abhi (Shabbir Ahluwalia) and Pragya (Sriti Jha). Mohammad Nazim’s re-entry has again propelled Saath Nibhana Saathiya into the top five. It is on the second place. Zee TV’s supernatural offering, Brahmarakshas is on the third position. Shakti…Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki and Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah made up the fourth and fifth spot respectively.

Top shows Hindi GECs (Urban + Rural): Kumkum Bhagya is ruling over cities and smaller towns as well. Saath Nibhana Saathiya, which is a perennial favourite since years is on the second slot. Brahmarakshas’ twists and turns have managed to book the third spot for the Krystle Dsouza and Aham Sharma show. Shakti…Astitve Ke Ehsaas Ki has struck a chord all over the country. Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’s twist of the Aaliya-Adi-Mihir love triangle put it in the fifth place.

Top shows Hindi GECs (Rural): Zee Anmol’s Bandini, Jodha Akbar and Kasam Hai Tujhe Aa Bhi Jaa took the first three ranks. Adhuri Kahaani Hamari repackaged as Kasam Hai Tujhe Aa Bhi Jaa is doing great in villages. Star Utsav’s Saath Nibhana Saathiya took the last position.

We have seen shows touching up social issues like discrimination, plight of widows, drug menace, etc in recent times. One of the scariest crimes against girls in recent times is acid attack. It seems the makers of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein are planning to do this on the show. The victim will be Aaliya (Krishna Mukherjee). As we know, she is in love with Mihir (Raj Singh Arora) while Adi (Abhishek Verma) loves her. A couple of days back, Adi professed his love to her while she told him that she loves Mihir. This has broken his heart and he has become a drunkard.

Adi has developed a penchant for alcohol like Raman (Karan Patel). In fact, Raman will blame himself for the mess. Aaliya will get attacked on the road and Adi will be arrested on charges of throwing acid on her. Has Adi actually thrown acid on Aaliya or is someone else responsible?

We will see that Shagun (Anita Hassanandani) will spare no efforts to get Mihir married to Aaliya. This is despite the fact that he is her mama. Raman will tell Shagun that her actions have destroyed the life of her son, Adi.

However, Shagun has vowed to spoil Ishita’s life for snatching away Raman and Pihu after she gave seven years of her life to the Bhalla family. Has Shagun orchestrated the attack to destroy Ishita and Raman? Will she stoop so low to harm her own son and half-daughter’s life? Stay tuned for more updates on Bollywood Life…

Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) meets Shagun (Anita Hassanandani) and says she wants to talk to her. She says you are playing with Aaliya’s (Krishna Mukherjee) feelings. She says Aaliya is infatuated and how can you do this. Shagun says what is the issue, Mihir (Raj Singh Arora) is coming home and Aaliya will look after him. No one can stop their romance. Ishita says Mihir is not over Mihika (Avantika Hundal) as yet. He only sees Aaliya as his protege. He sees Adi (Abhishek Verma) and Aaliya as his kids. Ishita also says that age is not the main issue here but Mihir does not feel for her.

Shagun says I know you want Aaliya for your son Adi. She says he is my son also. Ishita says do not pretend to be a good mother. You made Adi’s life hell for 12 years. He went to jail because of you. They have a heated fight. She says you took away my Raman (Karan Patel). Ishita says he does not love you. I have never seen him making a love confession before you. If he ever did that, I would go back to Australia.

Later, Shagun says she will make sure that Aaliya and Mihir get married. Ishita is shocked. She says, everyone is saying that Shagun has become bad. But no one cared when I was good. A good Shagun is useless but a bad Shagun is fantastic. She tells Ishita that a custody battle will happen and she will make sure that Pihu (Ruhanika Dhawan) and Raman come to her. She does not care what happens to Mani (Sumeet Sachdeva). He can go back to Australia, she shouts.

In the office, a man tells Raman (Karan Patel) that his son must apologise for his bad behaviour. He says he was upset and made a mistake. The man refuses his apology and Raman loses his cool. The man says I will make sure no worker is on duty in the office. Ishita walks in and is disturbed the situation.

Aaliya fuses over Mihir in the room. He says she need not take that much efforts. She spots a few items, a card, a wallet and asks about them. Mihir says these are Rinki’s memorabilia. Wherever I go, I take them along. Aaliya gets disheartened hearing about his love for Rinki.

Vandana and Mrs Bhalla come to Romi’s office where Mrs Bhalla shouts at Romi for planning to divorce Mihika. He says that is not the case. Mrs Bhalla tries to tear up the papers but Mihika stops her. Romi says I was studying to complete my graduation. I did it secretly. Mihika also agrees. She says I would have killed you if you had an affair. They hug.

Mihir calls up Ishita and asks if the workers have done a strike. She says yes. He tells her to give him the details and he will manage everything. Aaliya tells Shagun that he is not over Rinki. She says for how long will my brother live with his dead wife’s memories. I am sure you will make a place in Mihir’s heart for yourself.  He gets ready to go to office. Aaliya dresses up in a sari and goes to him with a bowl of soup. Mihir looks at her slightly surprised. The sari reminds him of Rinki. He asks from where she got the sari and why did she wear it. He says did no one tell you that one should not touch other’s things.

At the board meeting, Adi tells Ishita that he will say sorry to the workers. She says she feels it will not work. Mihir walks in and Ishita says she told him about the matter. Adi walks out as Mihir walks in. He asks Ishita why is Adi avoiding me? Why is Raman avoiding me? He says Aaliya is giving me unnecessary attention. He asks if the doctor has said it is a serious matter. Ishita says it is very complicated.

She says Adi loves Aaliya and she loves you. Mihir is surprised…

Kumkum Bhagya might be the number 1 show on Indian television but Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein is clearly the number 1 star. We had put up a poll asking fans to vote for who is the better star and Divyanka grabbed 62% of votes! She beat Kumkum Bhagya’s Sriti Jha by a huge margin. Well, congratulations Divyanka! The audience is completely in love with you.

Kumkum Bhagya has remained in the first position for weeks, according to the BARC Report while Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’s ranking and TRP’s kept fluctuating. Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya has constantly been in the limelight lately because of her recent marriage with actor Vivek Dahiya and when ex-boyfriend and actor Ssharad Malhotra came out to support her publicly when she was facing a lot of flak on social media. Divyanka also has a larger fan base when compared to Sriti Jha. Divyanka has 2.1 million followers on Instagram while Sriti Jha has only 223K followers. Not just that, Divyanka also takes to social media to express her gratitude to her fans and connects with them. There is post almost every day. Seems like someone has to up their social media game!

Sriti Jha is still single, not so active on social media but it is refreshing to watch her romancing and bickering with co-star Shabir Ahluwalia on Kumkum Bhagya. Sriti has been a part of other shows like Dhoom Machao Dhoom, Jiya Jale, Jyoti, Dil Se Di Dua… Saubhagyavati Bhava and so on. Divyanka started her career with popular daily show Banoo Main Teri Dulhan and went on doing other shows like Mrs. and Mr. Sharma Ahlabaadwale, Chintu Chinki Aur E Badi Si Love Story, Kahani Comedy Circus Ki before she became the famous Ishima aka Ishita Bhall in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.

If you thought that Sairat’s Zhingat was this year’s anthem for Ganpati Visarjan, you’re mistaken. There are some people who love the classics. Yes, we are talking about Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’s Anita Hassanandani aka Shagun who simply loves Vengaboys To Brazil. Of course, that iconic song made Vengaboys an overnight sensation across the globe. The peppy beats matched with the hot video was a blockbuster hit. Anita also belongs to the generation that grew up on the number, so we can understand her attachment. Anita was not alone letting her hair down. She was joined by Abhishek Verma, who plays her son, Adi on the show. Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’s Adi is like a Devdas on the serial but clearly there were no blues.

In case you’re wondering where were these two shaking a leg, well it was at a Ganpati Visarjan. We guess it was part of a sequence for the show but these two know how to have fun. Shagun was her chic self in a rose pink ensemble. A pink sari with a gold border and a blouse with umbrella sleeves. The woman is giving major closet goals to every girl who wants stylish blouses for her saris, traditional or otherwise. Adi was dressed casually.

The two are dancing like crazy. I mean just look at Anita. She is one helluva bindass babe. And she manages to dance so well in a sari. We know a very few women who can shake a leg like that in the nine yards. The choice of song also had us intrigued. Who would thought that Lord Ganpati would be treated to Vengaboys’ To Brazil on his visarjan. But then, Bappa is the most liberal of the Gods, what say! Anita is also a big devotee of the Lord. She enjoyed the festivities to the hilt this season.

Anita Hassanandani visited Lalbaugcha Raja this year with husband, Rohit Reddy. The actress posted on Instagram about it. She also visited Ekta Kapoor’s Ganpati and the home of Abhay Bhargava. Anita was joined by Divyanka Tripathi in some of these darshans. The actress seems to enjoy the festival a lot.

Aaliya feels guilty

Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) enters kitchen and decides to make soup but she gets a call. Raman (Karan Patel) says even he got a call and they both leave for office. In the office, Aadi starts shouting on Aaliya and asks her to leave. Mani shouts on Aadi and asks him to apologise to Aaliya. Raman (Karan Patel) asks him to apologise. Aadi leaves angrily. Mani takes Aaliya. Ishita suggests meeting in the morning.

Shagun gives Mani a cheque and asks him to restart the work at factory. He resists but she convinces him to accept it. Ishita and Raman call Aadi’s friends to find where he is. They get worried. Aadi comes back drunk. Raman asks if he is drunk. Aadi says he will ruin Aaliya. Ishita tries to explain that loving Mihir was not in her control. He says he will make her say yes anyhow. Ishita gets upset.

Mihir comes and tries to comfort Aaliya. He tells her that Aadi is hurt and asks her to stay away from him. She gets angry on him and says that he is thinking about Aadi and not her. Mihir tries to explain her that their relation is not possible. Aaliya says she loves him deeply.

Mani thanks Shagun for helping him. Shagun calls an investor and asks him to ensure that Bhallas don’t open the factory again. Mihir asks Aaliya to put her hand on a flame to prove her love. Aaliya refuses to do it. He forces her to put her hand but she resists. He puts his hand on the flame and says he loves his wife and that’s why he is not afraid of pain. He tells Aaliya that she is just infatuated.

Ishita sees Aadi in her dream. She gets up to drink water. She finds Aadi messaging Aaliya. Ishita snatches his phone and reads the message. She scolds him for sending threatening message to Aaliya. Aadi pushes her away. She gives him support and brings him inside. Raman gets worried seeing Aadi in this condition.

Aaliya calls Ishita to tell her that Mihir doesn’t love her. Raman picks it up and hears everything. Raman tells her that Aadi is disturbed. Ishita takes the phone. Aaliya apologises to Ishita, cries, says she is feeling bad for Aadi and cuts the phone. Ishita gets worried and decides to meet her.

Shagun sees Aaliya crying. Aaliya shouts on her and scolds her for misleading her. She says she doesn’t want to hear anything and she will go and apologise to Aadi. Ishita scolds Mihir for burning his hand. Mihir apologises and says he was helpless. Ishita goes and hugs Aaliya. She comforts her. Shagun looks over.

Anita Hassanandani is one of the most glamorous and sexy villains on Indian television. She clearly beats all the other villains in the fashion area and we love it! Not only do her sarees and blouses look stunningly stylish but she also makes sure that the hair and makeup is not over the top. After seeing villains like Urvashi Dholakia, Sudha Murthy and Ashwini Kalsekar with those huge bindis and sindoors;, it’s very refreshing to see one villain who can give designers a run for their money. I have been following the show, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, for some time now (because of my job) and every time I wish that Shagun gets more screen space.

Recently, on Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, Divyanka Tripathi aka Ishita Bhalla, has also started donning some quirky and stylish blouses. Sadly, it’s no match for what Anita aka Shagun wears. Divyanka needs to take fashion lessons from Shagun (Anita). Check out these pictures to know what we are saying…

The first thing we noticed in this picture was her curves. They say a woman looks sexier in a saree and we couldn’t agree more. In addition to that, this is a stunning wedding look. We love that she hasn’t tied her hair up in this.

A bright pink one-shoulder blouse with an embroidered net saree and just the earrings; we love it. Not like one of those villains who have to wear tons of jewellery to do justice to a negative role.

We all know how much fun Yeh Hai Mohabbatein team has while shooting. Their videos have time and again proved that they work like a big-happy family. The recent one posted by the show’s lead Divyanka Tripathi, sees a tickling-battle between on-screen siblings Pihu (Ruhaanika Dhawan) and Aadi (Abhishek Verma). Divyanka aka Ishima is holding Abhishek and asking Ruhaanika to take revenge. Ruhaanika is tickling him and poor Abhishek is jumping helplessly. Divyanka leaves him in the end saying badla pura. She hash tagged it as #BroSisFight being resolved in #IshimaCourt. Now isn’t this a cute way of unwinding.

As far as the story is concerned, YHM is seeing a serious plot at the moment. As we know, the love triangle between Aaliya, Mihir and Aadi has taken an ugly shape. In the upcoming episodes we will get to see the evil side of Aadi. The sweet and warm-hearted teenage will turn villainous. He has already become an alcoholic. In the upcoming episodes Aaliya will face an acid-attack, Aadi will be held responsible for it and taken to jail. Although it still remains to be seen whether he is the real culprit, his threatening messages sent to Aaliya will work against him.

Interestingly, this tickling video was made right after they shot the police station scene. These actors seem to have aced the switch-on-switch-off technique. The YHM team has given us several reasons to love them, both on-screen and off-screen. We just want to tell them that ‘Hey YHM, keep these videos coming!’

Raman (Karan Patel) taunts Aadi. Aadi says he doesn’t want to listen to any lectures. Raman says he is misbehaving. Aadi says he is just following his father’s steps. He reminds him that when Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) left him he also drowned himself in alcohol and he is doing the same. Raman scolds him and offers him a bottle of alcohol. Aadi says this is not going to change him. He says Aaliya (Krishna Mukherjee) will have to pay a heavy price for what she did.

Aaliya feels guilty and apologises to him on message. She asks him to meet her in the morning.Abhi agrees. In the office, Romi comes and suggets filing a case. Ishita says she wants to handle this case her way. She asks Mihir to fix a meeting with the person.

Aadi drives and thinks why has she called him now. He meets a friend on the way. He offers him help and asks him to sit in his car. His friend starts cribbing about his girfriend. His friend tells her that her girlfriend has called her. Aadi asks his friend to get down. He says he wants to teach her a lesson. He drinks alcohol.

Ishita gives the investor her jewellery. She asks her to help her out of this problem. She convinces him to accept the money and to get work started. He agrees and leaves. Everyone catches him red-handed. Raman, Ishita, Romi’s plan works. Ishita scolds her employees for going on strike and believing this man. Raman,Mihir and Romi smile and proudly see Ishita. Employees agree to work. Raman winks at Ishita.

Aaliya waits for Aadi in the garden. She talks to herself and hopes that Aadi forgives him. Someone comes from behind, calls her and throws acid on her face. She is rushed to the hospital. Nurse takes her mobile to call he rparents but she finds Aadi’s message. Romi reaches home and asks about Shagun. Shagun asks him not to over react. Door bell rings. Romi gets shocked to see police at his door step. Police man asks Romi to come to the hospital with him. He asks if it’s related to Aaliya. He nods.

At the office, everyone praises Ishita. Police enters their room and ask for Aditya Bhalla. Everyone asks why. They tell them that he has attacked a girl with a chemical. Everyone gets shocked. Raman says he can’t do this, he is his son. Ishita asks the girl’s name. Both Raman and Ishita get reminded of Aadi’s changed behaviour.
