Gear up to see Raman getting naughty with Ishita in the upcoming episode. Read on for details!

In the last episode, we saw Ishita(Divyanka Tripathi) being distracted at the dinner table and dropping a glass of water. She used a napkin to clean up the mess and saw that it had the logo of the hotel that she visited the previous night, while following Ashok(Sangram Singh). Ishita panicked and the Bhalla members asked her to calm down. Later, Ishita stepped out in order to get her bag from the car and met Prateek there. The two’s conversation was overheard by Ashok, who had placed a mike inside Ishita’s bag and was furious to learn that Ishita was tricking him by playing Shagun(Anita Hassanandani). A kid bumped into Ishita and dropped her bag, in turn crushing the mike. As a result, Ashok couldn’t hear the rest of their conversation. An auto rickshaw driver informed Ishita about a phone that someone from the Bhalla family had left behind during the ride.

Ishita realised that it was Sarika’s number and was distraught to know that she might be the informer. Ishita handed the phone to Sarika, who seemed tensed. Later, Ishita followed Sarika to the hotel and confronted her. It was revealed that Sarika had lied about being married in order to work at the hotel and earn extra money. Ishita asked Sarika to seek held from her in case need be. The episode ended with Ishita being shocked to learn that it was Mihir who had visited the hotel the previous night, as told by Sarika.

In the upcoming episode, drama and mystery will take a back seat and romance will kick in. It will so happen that the Bhalla family would attend a party but Ishita will request to stay behind. At the party, Raman would drop some food on his shirt and will come back home, to change. He will remove his shirt and will find Ishita inside the room. The lights will go off and taking advantage of the situation, Raman will get naughty with Ishita! But their romantic moment will be busted by Abhishek who will ask Ishita to meet him and she will leave Raman hanging.

Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel are best known for their role as Raman and Ishita from their popular show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. Raman was once the angry Punjabi munda who has now turned into a loving husband to wife Ishita. Divyanka Tripathi is rather secretive about her personal life. The actress popularly known for her role as Ishita from Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, is often guarded when quizzed about her love life. The beauty took a long time to admit that she was in a relationship with her ex-beau Ssharad Malhotra. Sadly, the two called it quits after dating for seven years! Divyanka is now being linked to her YHM co-star Vivek Dahiya, who plays the role of ACP Abhishek in the series.  The two are rumoured to be dating but are keeping their relationship hush hush. However, Divyanka an Vivek more than confirmed the rumours when they decided to attend the Indian Telly Awards together and made a stunning pair on the red carpet. A popular entertainment portal recently reported that the two are now ready to take their relationship to the next level. We hear that Divyanka and Vivek are all set to get hitched!

But when contacted by the portal, Divyanka had another story to tell. She denied the story saying,” I cannot really speak about my relationship at this point of time. You need to figure out who is spreading rumours from the set.”

Ahem, point noted Ms Tripathi. The actress may have denied the news but we never know when pictures of their roka ceremony might hit the internet. After all, that’s what happened with love birds Mohit Sehgal and Sanaya Irani right? *wink wink*

Mouni Roy and Arjun Bijlani’s Naagin was the top show last week and has retained its position yet again, twice in a row,  on the list of BARC week 49. The show this week has a rating of 5.1, from last week’s rating that was 5.7.  On number two is Devoleena Bhattacharjee’s Saath Nibhaana Saathiya with a rating of 4.2, dropping from 4.8 last week. Since a while, Saath Nibhaana Saathiya and Naagin have been competing against one another and we are waiting to see a change in this cycle! Makers of other shows need to buck up and bring something new to the table with their serials.  Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel’s Yeh Hai Mohabbatein  has come back in the race, retaining the third position on the list with a rating of 3.9 followed by Sriti Jha and Shabbir Ahluwalia’s Kumkum Bhagya, that has a rating of 3.8. Star Plus falls behind Zee Anmol and Colors in top channels list

The ratings for week 50 under the urban and rural data system of BARC are here. According to the firm, there was an impact on TV viewing in states like Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat and Rajasthan due to a variety of reasons. Zee Anmol was the No.1 channel in the country followed by Colors. One of the biggest surprises was Jamai Raja, which got a TRP of 2.7 one of its highest. Zee TV’s show Tashan-E-Ishq also picked up on the ratings. However, Naagin held on the top slot with its heady mix of supernatural drama, thrill and romance.

Here is  lowdown on what happened on TV this week

The world of TV is an action-packed one. From the Khan extravaganza on Bigg Boss 9 to Mrunal Thakur’s exit from Kumkum Bhagya and Mohsin Khan’s false death alarm, here is a look at what transpired on TV…

Entries and exits

It was finally confirmed that Mrunal Thakur (Bulbul) is quitting Kumkum Bhagya. The actress says she is on a break but there are rumours of her auditioning for Salman Khan’s Sultan.

Veteran actor Rajesh Khera’s slated to make an entry on Chakravartin Ashok Samrat as Devavrath. The actor says his character is as important as Chanakya’s (Manoj Joshi) in the historical series.

Pratyusha Banerjee will turn into a Naagin for &TV’s supernatural cum reincarnation drama, Adhuri Kahani Hamari. She was also seen in a supernatural avatar in Sasural Simar Ka.

Aanchal Khurana is all set to re-enter Zee TV’s Sarojini to create troubles for the lead, Shiny Doshi.

Love is in the air

Abhinav Shukla confirmed that actress Rubina Dilaik and he are seeing each other. The two have worked earlier in Chotti Bahu but were just co-stars then.

The news of comedian Bharti Singh trying the knot in end of 2016 to beau, Harsh Limbachiyaa made a lot of news. However, she said that nothing was planned as yet.

False alarm

Everyone was shocked after a news wire reported that actor Mohsin Khan of Dream Girl fame was dead in a river rafting expedition in Assam. However, the actor assured everyone he was fit and fine in Mumbai.

Telly tracks

Tashan-E-Ishq completed 100 episodes with an on sets celebration. The rising TRPs is a reason to cheer for.

In Swaragini, Swara (Helly Shah) had to leave Maheshwari mansion due to Ragini’s (Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar) evil scheming. Sadly, even Sanskar (Varun Kapoor) does not trust her.

In Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, it was an action-packed week with Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) trying to save Shagun (Anita Hassanandani). Not much for Raman (Karan Patel) to do on the show.

Bigg Boss 9

It was family time on the show as Suyyash Rai and Prince Narula got visits from their sisters. Keith Sequeira got a letter from his mother and Priya Malik spoke to her husband.

Rishabh Sinha and Mandana Karimi have an ugly after she accused him of hitting her. Kishwer Merchantt got a visit from her mom.

Mandana Karimi and Priya Malik get into a fight about racism while Rochelle Maria Rao and Rishabh Sinha fight about captaincy.

The best part was the interaction between Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan at the start of the week. They regaled the audience with their Karan-Arjun bonding.

She will send the entire family to jail to save them from Ashok

There is a lot of turmoil in Ishita’s life in the coming episodes. Last night, we saw how Sarika Dhillon (Sarika Dhillon) gave Raman (Karan Patel) poison. However Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) and Romi (Aly Goni) managed to rescue him in the nick of time. We also saw Ishita’s doubt on Sarika intensifying after she heard Ashok’s (Sangram Singh) conversation with her. In the mean time, Sarika filled Mrs Bhalla’s ears against Ishita and Shagun and how they have betrayed the entire family. Mrs Bhalla gets angered with the developments.

In the coming episodes, we will see Mrs Bhalla throwing Ishita out of the house. Mrs Iyer will also close doors on her. She will have no option but to move out. Shagun (Anita Hassanandani) will come to her aid. Then, we will see her bringing the police to Bhalla house. She will accuse them of domestic violence and get them arrested. Everyone will be shocked, including Raman. Through this, she will take help to trap Sarika and Ashok and put them behind the bars.

In the mean time, the cast and crew of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein has fallen ill due to the work load and Mumbai climate. Many of them fell ill after the crocodile episode where the lead actors had to stay underwater. There is no bank in place, which is why the cast and crew is facing this problem. People are singing praises of the leads, who have been shooting non-stop.

Show: Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain
Every actor will tell you that doing comedy is really tough. So, an actress who excels in that definitely finds a place in our list. Shilpa plays the bubbly and innocent Angoori Manmohan Tiwari on the show effortlessly. The audience is gaga over her acting and all that we can say to the makers is Sahi Pakde Hain.

Tejaswi Prakash Wayagankar
Show: Swaragini
There are many seasoned vamps on TV but here’s a relative newcomer who’s made them sit up and take notice. Pretty with an innocent face, Tejaswi has nailed the role of the frustrated, scheming, manipulative and border-line psychotic Ragini with rare panache. Though she reportedly wants to quit the show in search of positive roles, we feel she simply rocks. In fact, so much that people want to get inside the TV and hit her. Beat that!

Ideal bahu, loving mother, detective, ghost and now a superwoman fighting off a crocodile. Is there anything that Ishita can’t do? TV shows have convoluted plots and actors have to given in 200% to make them look as believable as possible. Divyanka has done that superbly throughout the year and kudos to her!

Siddharth Nigam
Show: Chakravartin Ashok Samrat
The young man’s six-pack abs, flexibility and chiseled looks made him a great choice to play the young Emperor Ashoka but Siddharth proved that he had the acting chops as well. From the intense father-son sequences to the track with Ahankara (Tunisha Sharma), he’s proved he’s deft with emotions.

Shakti Arora
Show: Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi
The daily serial might have lost some of its charm and intensity due to plots and sub-plots generated to keep the lovers separate but Shakti Arora’s performance as Ranveer/Milan has been loved throughout. We don’t know if the current track will boost the TRPs but Shakti has been the show’s saving grace on so many days!

Monica Sehgal
Show: Dostiyaan…Yaariyan…Manmarziyaan
Blessed with a strong role of a reserved small-town girl wanting to make her mark in the world before getting hitched, Monica echoed the sentiments of millions of Indian youth through the role of Radhika. People loved her chemistry with Arjun (Aham Sharma). The lady is back in action as Bahamani in Ashoka proving that its versatility that drives her.

Ronit Roy
Show: Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar
The seasoned veteran once again stole hearts with his nuanced portrayal of Dr. Nachiket. The theme of renewed love between a divorced couple, was an unique one. Ronit’s sensitive performance took the show up a few notches.

Shraddha Arya
Show: Dream Girl
Some of the kickass histrionics in 2015 have come from TV’s vamps. As the glamorous Ayesha Sareen, who wants all the power and title to herself, Shraddha’s played the character of the ruthless cunning woman with flair.

Ssharad Malhotra
Show: Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap
It has been a year of supernatural, mythological and historical dramas. The handsome actor’s performance as the valiant Maharana Pratap has been appreciated by the critics and audiences. Ssharad’s intensity added the X-factor to the show for a long time.

Drashti Dhami
Show: Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani
She made a comeback on a TV show after a hiatus and boy, what a return it was. Chosen to play the lead in one of most lavish productions on TV, Drashti is adorable as Gayatri, the moneylender’s daughter, who becomes the queen of Amerkot. The fact that Siddhant Karnick (Ranaji) and she look great together is another USP.

Colors replaced Zee Anmol at the top spot. Bigg Boss 9 weekend featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan got a TRP of 2.9

Here are the last BARC Ratings for the year 2015. This week we saw Colors take the top slot amongst channels with a consistent rating of 725 million in one week. Zee Anmol was on the second place while Star Plus took the third spot. The suspense in the supernatural drama, Naagin made it the highest watched show for three straight weeks.

Here is a look at TV shows that caught our attention this year

Supernatural elements like naagins, chudails and dayans have wowed viewers in 2015 as much as mythological and historical dramas. While shows like Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, Diya Aur Baati Hum, Kumkum Bhagya and Yeh Hai Mohabbatein continued their glorious run in 2015, there were new shows that made us sit up and take notice. We list out our top 10 shows on TV this year.

Naagin
While one might argue that Naagin came on air way too late in 2015 i.e. November, there’s no denying it’s one big success story. Though the idea of the Icchadhari naagin (form-changing snake) seeking revenge is a dated one, the fresh packaging makes it appealing for both urban and rural audience. The sizzling chemistry between Ritik (Arjun Bijlani) and Shivaanya (Mouni Roy), a gorgeous vamp (Adaa Khan), lavish production values and the intriguing narrative make it a must-watch.

Swaragini
A story of two sisters joining hands to unite their parents, Swaragini started off on a unique and positive premise. It had steady ratings but the makers took some risks with the lead characters, which paid off royally on the TRP charts. Fans are gaga over the histrionics of the entire cast, right from main leads to supporting actors. The high-voltage drama is engrossing too. And the chemistry between Swara (Helly Shah) and Sanskaar (Varun Kapoor) is downright addictive! Don’t you agree?

Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani
A love saga set in the bygone era, ETR2’s first look got us hungry for more. From the grand sets to the authentic costumes and stellar cast, the show was one of the big launches of the year. However, it was a slow starter on the TRP charts despite the presence of the hugely popular Drashti Dhami. The show has gathered momentum in the past couple of months and the makers are sparing no efforts to add romance, suspense and entertainment for the viewers.

Reporters
Rajeev Khandelwal’s comeback on the small screen, Reporters came in the format of finite series. Youngsters loved the sizzling pair of Kabir (Rajeev) and Ananya (Kritika Kamra). While it did not fare exceptionally well on TRP charts, a niche audience appreciated the tight screenplay and narrative, which had a sufficient dose of realism. It was a one-of-its-kind newsroom drama.

Siya Ke Ram
In times of cost-cutting, it takes guts to go all out and splurge on a show. Producer Nikhil Sinha of Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev has done that with his ambitious venture, Siya Ke Ram. The first look of the show blew us away with some comparing it to the trailer of SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali! Starring Ashish Sharma and Midarakshi Mundle, it got off to a great start on the TRP charts but has slowed down since then. However, that does not take away from the efforts of the cast, technicians and makers, who have come up with a superb product.

Tashan-E-Ishq
This show replaced the highly popular Jodha Akbar on Zee TV. After a slow start, fans started warming up to the chemistry between the trio of Twinkle (Jasmine Bhasin), Kunj (Siddhant Gupta) and Yuvraj (Zain Imam). The plot has got a lot more dramatic recently garnering more curiosity. Set in Punjab, the story revolves around two people Kunj and Twinkle, who marry in strained circumstances.

Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai!
Inspired by the hit 90s show, Shriman Shrimati, Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai is a comedy series set in Kanpur. It talks about two men, Manmohan Tiwari (Rohitash Gaud) and Vibhuti Narayan Mishra (Aashif Sheikh) who eye each other’s wives, Angoori (Shilpa Shinde) and Anita (Saumya Tandon). Witty lines, epic expressions, superb comic timings and simplicity make it a hit.

Sankatmochan Mahabali Hanuman
People love mythological sagas on TV as they find them informative and entertaining, especially for their children. Coming from the stables of Contiloe, the show has been loved for story-telling, special effects and cast. Viewers are in love with Ishant Bhanushali, who plays the role of young Hanuman on the show. With interesting stories being told through the characters, there is something to look forward to in all the episodes.

Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan
Though we have tried to keep our focus on shows that began in 2015, KY2 found a place here because of its sheer popularity. The year was an eventful one mainly because of the exit and re-entry of teen icon Parth Samthaan, who garnered a crazy fan following. Manik (Parth) and Nandini (Niti Taylor) got into a physical relationship on the show while characters like Cabir (Ayaz Ahmed) and Dhruv (Utkarsh Gupta) made an exit. Fans are eager for season three of Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan.

Yeh Hai Mohabbatein
It has been one helluva year for Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) on the show, which is why YHM makes it on our list. While 2014 was all about Ruhi (Ruhanika Dhawan), Ishita and Raman (Karan Patel), this year the focus shifted on Ishita and Shagun. So much so, that we have a new jodi IshGun. From the much-talked about consummation sequence to the supernatural track and now crocodile attack, viewers have been hooked.

Talk about killer looks. TV hottie Anita Hassanandani has a legion of fans that go gaga over the beauty. And well, she just slaughtered them before the New Year. She posted her swimsuit pictures on Instagram and showed off her sexier side with élan. Flaunting a floral bikini top with coral pink bottoms, Anita seemed to be in a totally chilled out mood.

She was holidaying in Bali’s hip Nusa Dua area, which is famous for its luxury five-star resorts. The actress stayed at the Laguna. Good friends Ekta Kapoor and Nivedita Basu also accompanied her. On her Instagram post, Anita also mentioned that they went to the Uluwatu Temple. It is one of the most magnificent sights of Bali perched on top of a steep cliff.

The holiday was a well-deserved one. After all, the actress has been working hard all year long for Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, where she plays the role of the stylish vamp turned Ishita’s (Divyanka Tripathi) good friend. We also loved her snap with husband, Rohit Reddy, who also showed off his washboard abs. Now, that’s what we call a jodi.

Anita, who is known for her sartorial sensibilities, upped her fashion quotient during the trip. From a white dress to dungarees and a green outfit with a plunging neckline, Shagun brought in the New Year with style.

A few months back we saw Hina Khan flaunting her beach body while on a break in the Maldives. With actors being on social media, the compliments too come pouring in, like it did for Anita!

The actress walked the ramp in Colombo dressed in bridal finery 

It looks like Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’s Ishita has found a second home. A few months back, we reported how Divyanka Tripathi was roped in as the brand ambassador of a health product in Sri Lanka. Well, the actress’ association with the Emerald Isle continued in the New Year when she went there for a short trip on January 4. The actress was thrilled to get a small break from her continuous shooting schedules. Yeh Hai Mohabbatein airs as Me Adarayai in Sri Lanka and the show is hugely popular with the locals.

Divyanka says, “It is my second professional trip. My professional trips in India or abroad don’t last for more than a day or two, but they are always welcome as they are very refreshing work wise and mentally. We actor live a monotonous and strenuous life. It’s important to break the cycle at times and do something different. It may or may not be a leisure trip, but going to a different place and experiencing a different culture gives you a varied perspective on life.”

The actress further adds, “They welcomed me with a grand traditional Sri Lankan performance .I had a prayer meet with the Buddhist monks. I enjoyed a lot.”

When asked about the ramp show the actress says, “It was a bridal ramp show. My look was that of a Sri Lankan bride. There is one picture of mine with a real Sri Lankan bride ready for her marriage. The dress weighed 17 kilograms with complete diamante work combined with real 24k jewellery. The heavy dress gave a special bridal workout.”

The high-voltage drama on the show never seems to end

After the crocodile episode, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein will see some adoption drama. We have seen how Sarika’s (Sarika Dhillon) truth has come out in front of the entire family. The Bhallas are devastated to know that Rohit is not Romi (Aly Goni) and Sarika’s child and that he is from an adoption centre. Mrs Bhalla says they will send him to an orphanage but Raman (Karan Patel) takes objection. He says that Rohit is a child of the family and will stay there. However, Romi is shattered and refuses to acknowledge Rohit as his child. Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) tries to pacify him. The couple decides to adopt Rohit by completing the procedures straight away.

In the mean time, Romi leaves the house and goes to a pub to drown his sorrows. There a group of goons tease him about being impotent. He gets angry and a scuffle follows. Mihika (Mihika Varma) reaches there and tries to stop Romi. However, the fracas intensifies and Romi breaks a bottle on her head thinking her to be a goon. A lot of blood flows and she gets unconscious. Romi is shocked to see this.

We will also see Ashok (Sangram Singh) plotting against Romi in the coming episodes. Will Ishita and Raman be able to convince Mrs Bhalla to let Rohit stay in the house? What will happen to Mihika? #While Colors retained the top spot, Naagin continued to record awe-inspiring TRPs of 5.8 from last week. With more drama on the anvil, we wonder what the figures will be next week!

#Two shows, Thapki Pyaar Ki and Ishq Ka Rang Safed also showed improvement on the charts. The hugely popular Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi also recorded a slight growth with the lead pair getting closer.

#Zee TV’s Tashan-E-Ishq is also developing a loyal fan following with the TRPs remaining steady at 2.5. Kumkum Bhagya is the leader. It seems like the growing popularity of Yeh Vaada Raha is affecting Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani.

The adoption drama is what is keeping the viewers hooked for now

After the ghost track and crocodile drama, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein has moved back to family related drama and suspense. As of now, the track is on Raman (Karan Patel) and Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) who are trying to make Romi (Aly Goni) understand that he loves Rohit though Sarika (Sarika Dhillon) might have got him from an orphanage. Viewers are also seeing a friendship track between Mihika and Romi. Ishita goes to the orphanage from where Rohit was brought to enquire about his actual mother but gets a warning note not to carry on further investigations in this matter.

In the mean time, Sarika will return to the Bhalla house and say that she has full right to live in the house. She will threaten them of domestic abuse. She will blame Romi for spoiling her life. She will look for Rohit and on finding Rohit’s stuff in Raman’s room, she will insist on moving there. Sarika will instigate Romi to raise his hand on her so that she can complain to the police. Though she will show the photo to ACP Abhishek (Vivek Dahiya), he won’t arrest Romi.

There is a lot of speculation that the actual mother of Rohit is the minister’s daughter with whom Romi was having an affair before getting married to Sarika. The Khanna’s are the rivals of the Bhallas. In the mean time, actor Lalit Bisht is all set to enter the show as a lawyer.

The Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actor urges fans to understand their point of view

Co-stars and newly engaged couple, Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya are on cloud nine. The two who were rumoured dating since a few months exchanged rings in Chandigarh, in a low-key ceremony attended by close family members. They are co-stars in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and make extremely good-looking couple too. However, one of the questions on everyone’s mind was if the two were indeed interested in each other and reportedly dating, why so much secrecy?

Vivek exclusively told BollywoodLife, “We were not dating each other. Everyone was cornering us and asking if we were dating, which was not true. We were two people exploring the fact that whether we were compatible enough to settle into the institution of marriage. Sadly, there was a lot of negativity, people were calling us names, which was disheartening. Some doubted our intentions. Most of them were not genuine fans but random people. We were growing fond of each other and did not want this negativity to make a dent in our relationship. This is why it was kept under wraps. I hope fans who are reading this understand our point of view.”

While we know that fans of Divyanka treat her like a member of their family, she is entitled to lead her personal life the way she wants. With Vivek touching upon this topic, we hope the debate over the secrecy factor gets some rest.

The cast of the film will be on these two shows

Promotions on TV are the in-thing nowadays. So, it is not surprising to see a number of film promotions being done through integrations in soaps. And no one will miss a chance when it is on home turf. The two main actors of Kya Kool Hai Hum 3, Tusshar Kapoor and Aftab Shivdasani will visit the sets of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and Kumkum Bhagya to promote their film. In the former show, they will make an entry into a party, where Raman (Karan Patel) and Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) will be present. They will add to the fun element of the party.

However, it’s their entry in Kumkum Bhagya, which is far more interesting. We know how Tanu (Leena Jumani) is keeping Pragya (Sriti Jha) and Abhi (Shabbir Ahluwalia) apart with her pregnancy stand. The two actors will be seen grooving with Abhi. In the mean time, Pragya will tell them how Tanu is lying to him that she is pregnant with his child. They will decide to help her in exposing Tanu before Abhi. Along with Pragya, they will try to nab Nikhil but won’t be able to do so.

Some peppy dance sequences, loads of comedy and witty one-liners will add more spunk to these shows. The only question is how viewers will react on seeing the cast of a porn com coming on a family show?

Colors strengthened its position on the number one slot while Star Plus’ viewership also increased in the second week of 2016

The BARC Ratings for Week 2 of 2016 are here. This is not much change. Colors has retained a firm hold on the top position followed by Star Plus. Naagin continues its dazzling reign on TRP charts with 5.3 points. Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, Kumkum Bhagya and Sasural Simar Ka are other shows that did exceptionally well.
